like Jon said, let us know how the phone works out for you. i’m hesitant to switch to the iPhone and AT&T for the same reasons as you, plus, i tend to be resistant to the “Ooooh, SHINY!” mentality. not that i still don’t kinda covet an iPhone, but if there’s something else out there that has better coverage and does just as much, well, i’m all for that.

Please let us know how this new phone works out for you. I’m thinking about upgrading to one myself but want to hear some unbiased opinions before I make the plunge.
