30. Set up monthly donations to my favorite non-profits

Considering that this list is going to end with a substantial donation to TRI (I hope!), it seemed fitting to kick off my list by setting up monthly donations to some of my favorite non-profits and charities.

In honor of my friend Michelle, I’ll be donating monthly to the Arthritis Foundation.
In honor of my friend Sam, my co-worker Laura, and my librarian role model Joan I’ll be donating monthly to the HERA Women’s Ovarian Cancer Foundation.*
In honor of my wife Amy, I’ll be donating monthly to the National Center for Lesbian Rights.
In honor of all women who deserve to have full reproductive choice everywhere, I’ll be donating monthly to Planned Parenthood.
In honor of the education I received that has given me the means to make enough money to donate to other places regularly, I’ll be donating monthly to my alma mater, the College of St. Benedict.*

* As soon as I can figure out the monthly giving option…
