39. Watch a meteor shower
The Perseids meteor shower peaked on the evening of August 13, and Amy and I were fortunate enough to be in rural Maine to watch it. We only saw about 12 or 13 meteors in the few hours that we sat outside, but it was worth it.
This isn’t my photo (I didn’t take any), but it’s a pretty accurate representation of what I saw that night. Good fun!
