Who knew little Maggie liked lefse? Apparently she has Scandinavian genes just like her Mamom!
I found some old photos today on my hard drive – ones I scanned in ages ago. This is one of my favorites. It’s of my granny’s basketball team from 1932 in Orr, ND. Granny is in the front row all the way to the right. Her sister is second from the left in the front row.
I love old family photos like this. There are a ton more in hard copy, so I need to get around to scanning them and turning them into photo books for people. Other than the Apple iPhoto book program, are there book-making programs that you like?
I have owned this tiny little Christmas Cactus for years. It has always sort of been on the verge of dying, sort of dusty, and never particularly interesting. This summer I repotted it and put it out on the front porch. About 2 weeks ago, when the temperatures started dropping to close to freezing, I brought it in to the kitchen. And voila! It’s blooming now! Who knew?
Have you had any plant surprises lately? What did you do differently to your plants that you think caused it?
